WHAT IS CERA?

The CERA – or Cortical Evoked Response Audiometry – and Audiogram tests involve taking recordings from a few small electrodes taped to the patient’s head to record sound, which is delivered through a headset or inserted earphones in the patient’s ears. There is no radiation involved and the patient is not required to perform any task, but to stay relaxed.

The test lasts approximately one hour and 45 minutes. We advise you have adequate parking before beginning the test.
